£2553 raised for DofE Award Charity

On Saturday 21st of September 2013 eight of us climbed up Snowdon reaching the top in about 4 hours. We decided to take the Watkins path on the way up which is one of the harder routes and the Miner’s track on the way down as it took us past the lakes so we could enjoy the scenery.

For your amusement there is a short 7 minute video on youtube that captures a few highlights on the way up and down.

We would all like to thank everyone who sponsored us. We raised £2553 which with gift aid gives the DofE charity a total of £2908.75.

The whole weekend was a great success, we have raised a good amount of money for the DofE Award Charity and we had a lot of fun in the process.

Thank you for your support – from:
