Leaded / Lead Free
Most people in the electronics
industry will now be familiar with the RoHS directive and the need
for most sectors to have their product designed and manufactured
"lead free".
Speedboard qualified its lead
free process back in 2006, but a number of our customers are
in exempt sectors and so we are still assembling using both leaded
and lead free processes and envisage doing this for the foreseeable
future.
We have helped all our customers
understand the directive and to transition their designs and our
manufacturing over to lead free.
