IPC Class 3 Assembly

Like most of our customers and the electronics industry at large, we have adopted the IPC quality standards as our default quality standards.

Most of our customers have set Class 2 as their acceptable level whilst others primarily in the Aerospace, Medical and Defence industries specify Class 3.

As you would expect, we have an IPC trained expert and a Six Sigma Blackbelt who not only train our own staff, but are on hand to advise us on process parameters so that we can achieve the highest levels of quality.

Although the solder and fluxes we use throughout our manufacturing are perfect for most of our customers, we will also use high reliability solder (which is rather more expensive!) for those very special jobs that not only require IPC Class 3, but may also face harsh conditions.
