Flexi Assembly
With the continual trend towards
miniaturisation we are seeing increased use of flexi and
flex-rigid PCBs.
Manufacturing flexi and flex-rigid
pcbs has been a feature of our work for many years.
Although this type of work has it's own unique challenges, the
finished results are excellent.
Key issues we are keen to discuss
are the panelisation, the use of custom platens for support, and
pre-baking and storage prior to assembly. All of these issues
will be addressed by our engineers during the NPI phase of a
job. But we are also very happy to discuss how to optimise
the manufacturing of these prior to final layout.
