Conformal Coating

Conformal coating is very simply a varnish applied over the board and components to help protect the board against moisture ingress.  Typically this is only necessary in harsh / outdoor environments.

Speedboard have a purpose built room for  dip, spray, and brush coating , along with UV inspection.

We recommend that designers consider if coating is a feature that will be required, then prior to final layout discuss with us how to layout the board to aid the coating process and cut down on unnecessary masking and handling.
